Calcutta Blues is a Bangla Rock based Band in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was founded in the year 2005 with an intention to spread soulful music especially amongst the younger generation. Initially they had to face lot of trouble but by dint of hard labor and strong determination their ambition has partially been fulfilled and within a very short span of time, they have developed their rank in the field of bangla bands.
Iman Sen and Ashok Roy have already participated in the MTV Rock On! Final. They played the song "Rajkanya" which was a super hit during their auditions. The song "Smriti" which portrayed the beautiful memories of college life appealed to a lot of college students and it has become almost a theme song of the college students... They have already gained popularity among young generation all over India. Since inception they have appeared on major TV channels like MTV India and Tara Music. They are now performing major music fests and college fests held across India. Band Released their Debut Album Rajkanya. On 15 August 2012 and it has become a bestselling Album.

Basically We Create Music with different Type of Genres, though
we believe Music Don’t Have Any Genre Its an Universal Language, Still We like
Classic Rock with a Touch Of 80s a Lot,

It depends on situation, Emotions create everything and

soul then there is no problem to create a song which is related to social
